Rest Room
On 23rd December, 2013 a Rest Room was inaugurated by Hon’ble Minister-in-Charge, Labour Department, Government of West Bengal & Chairman of the Board at the Head Office of the West Bengal Labour Welfare Board for the benefit of the workers/employees from distant districts who can stay there at a cost of Rs.50/- per day per head. The Rest Room has been started with five bedded accommodation which may increase in future. On this occasion Sri Sadhan Pandey, Hon’ble Minister-in-Charge, Consumer Affairs Department, Government of West Bengal, Smt. Krishna Chakraborty, Chairperson, Bidhannagar Municipality, Sri Paresh Paul, M.L.A., Sri Sabyasachi Dutta, M.L.A. attended as Guest-of-Honour. Office of the Assistant Labour Commissioner, Bidhannagar has also been inaugurated on the day by Hon’ble Minister-in-Charge, Labour Department, Government of West Bengal & Chairman of the Board at the 5th floor of the Head Office of the Board.
