The Welfare Schemes and activities are implemented and carried out through the Labour Welfare Centers set up in different industrial areas of this state. The Board operates holiday homes (Darjeeling, Digha, Bakkhali) wherein the workers can stay at a very nominal fee and enjoy holidays and weekend with their family members. The Board maintains several auditoria for the workers where they can and do hold social and cultural functions and celebrate festivals.

Regional office, Siliguri Rs. 25 per bed each day. Rs. 50 per bed each day.

Auditoria

There is an auditorium with each model labour welfare centre. The largest auditorium with a sitting capacity of 350 persons is attached to the head quarter of the Board in Kolkata. The auditoria are basically meant for the workers or their representing trade union so that they may use it at a very nominal rate for holding social and cultural function in it. The auditoria can also be hired by Government or non-Government organizations for social, cultural or official function.
